Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to forecast 5-10 year industry trajectories
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops and present insights to C-suite stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to expand foresight capabilities
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global futurist forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class strategic intelligence team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published author or speaker at major futurist conferences
