Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive, scalable web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js)
- Develop robust backend solutions with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB/PostgreSQL
- Optimize application performance through advanced caching strategies and database tuning
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality standards
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerization using Docker and AWS
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect interfaces
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and development
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and serverless architectures
- Proficient with Git version control and agile development methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ complex web applications with live deployments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of Louisiana tech ecosystem preferred
