Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Gather, cleanse, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure high-quality analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct complex statistical analysis to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that impact business performance.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to present data findings in a visually compelling manner.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries for leadership, translating technical findings into business strategies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data requirements.
- SQL Optimization: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data efficiently from relational databases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
