Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade network architectures including SD-WAN, cloud integration, and hybrid environments
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex network outages with < 30-minute SLA response
- Implement advanced security protocols (Zero Trust, firewalls, IDS/IPS) to protect sensitive data
- Document network topologies, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with cloud teams on AWS/Azure networking solutions and multi-cloud strategies
- Mentor junior technicians and conduct peer reviews of network designs
- Stay current with emerging technologies (AI-driven networking, 5G integration)
Qualifications
- CCNP/CCIE certification or equivalent enterprise networking certification
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista infrastructure
- Expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies
- Proven track record with network automation tools (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
- Strong background in network security (Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5 load balancers)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Datadog)
- Ability to work flexible hours for critical maintenance windows
