Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards (using Tableau or PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate accurate, timely, and insightful reports that support business strategy and operational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write optimized SQL queries to retrieve data from various databases and collaborate with engineering teams on data pipelines.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and recommend solutions to enhance data quality and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Snowflake) and Python or R.
- Visualization Tools: Expert level experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Excel: Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and Macros.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present data-driven narratives.
