Responsibilities
- Data Modeling & ETL: Design and maintain complex data models and extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis using Python and R to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and emerging business trends.
- Visualization: Build interactive, intuitive dashboards in Tableau or Power BI that empower stakeholders to monitor performance in real-time.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define data requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Reporting: Create detailed reports and executive summaries that drive strategic initiatives and optimize operational efficiency.
- Data Quality: Implement and enforce data governance policies to maintain high standards of data integrity and quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar quantitative role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with Python libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Tools: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Location: Must be willing to work in our Phoenix, AZ office (or be willing to relocate).
