Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality for reporting.
- Analytics & Reporting: Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the night-shift dataset.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for the operations team.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
- Automated Solutions: Develop SQL scripts and Python automation tools to streamline nightly reporting processes and reduce manual errors.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor data integrity and provide statistical support to resolve operational discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and Python/R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw logical conclusions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
