Responsibilities
- Collect and Clean Data: Gather and organize data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Analyze and Interpret Data: Use statistical methods and data mining techniques to interpret complex datasets and identify meaningful trends, patterns, and correlations.
- Develop Dashboards: Create interactive and visual dashboards using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to communicate data insights effectively.
- Generate Reports: Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management and stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support to solve business challenges.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection or reporting processes and propose solutions to improve data quality and operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL for database querying and Python or R for data analysis.
- Visualization Skills: Proven experience creating visualizations and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Advanced Excel: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
