Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure high data quality.
- Visualization: Create intuitive and interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports for stakeholders, highlighting critical business trends and anomalies.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis to support business forecasting and strategic planning.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and solve complex business problems.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably in the retail or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R.
- Tools: Expert level in Excel and experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
