Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive business decisions.
- Visualization: Develop compelling data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders effectively.
- Reporting: Create regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, translating technical findings into business-friendly insights.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve data infrastructure.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, finance) to understand their data needs and provide technical support.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases; experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization: Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a flexible schedule.
