Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Create compelling visualizations and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and anomalies affecting DC metropolitan operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into analytical solutions
- Develop predictive models to forecast key performance indicators
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through clear, data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or local government projects
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Advanced Tableau/Power BI dashboard development skills
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
- Experience with geospatial analysis (GIS) preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
