Job Overview:
We are looking for a strategic thinker with deep technical skills to oversee our security operations center (SOC), manage incident response, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor security alerts, analyze threat intelligence, and lead incident response efforts to mitigate breaches effectively.
- Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA through regular audits and assessments.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability scans to identify and remediate security gaps before exploitation.
- Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
- Collaboration: Partner with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a similar role.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH certification is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK), endpoint protection (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to executive stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security incidents under pressure.
