Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses in our systems.
- Monitor security alerts and investigate incidents 24/7 to ensure rapid incident response and containment.
- Design and implement security architectures that align with industry standards (NIST, ISO) and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and secure the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular security audits and provide actionable remediation plans to stakeholders.
- Maintain and tune security tools, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR).
- Stay abreast of the latest cyber threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors to proactively defend our network.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), scripting (Python/Bash), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, encryption standards, and common attack vectors.
- Compliance: Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or SOC2 compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
