Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Design and implement robust security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with cloud teams to secure AWS and Azure environments.
- Develop and maintain security policies and incident response plans.
- Train staff on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and encryption standards.
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, FireEye, or CrowdStrike.
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to security breaches effectively.
