Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with legal, executive, and technical teams.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with NIST and ISO frameworks.
- Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud Engineering teams to integrate security measures into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Provide expert consultation to stakeholders on security best practices and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related technical field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and encryption standards.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for security automation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
