Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security controls for cloud/on-premises infrastructure
- Lead incident response for critical security breaches with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Develop automation scripts for security monitoring and threat detection
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Mentor junior engineers through security training programs
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity engineering or related security roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Understanding of threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred or ability to obtain
