Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, ELK Stack) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analyses to proactively strengthen our defense posture.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, performing forensic analysis and root cause determination.
- Design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions including next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Develop and automate security scripts to enhance operational efficiency and threat detection capabilities.
- Provide security consulting and guidance to development and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network engineering.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, network protocols, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for security automation.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple critical incidents simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
