The Role:
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the first line of defense for our organization. You will monitor systems for security breaches, investigate incidents, and implement strategies to protect our infrastructure from evolving threats.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents 24/7 using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and antivirus solutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, CIS Controls, and HIPAA.
- Respond to and remediate security breaches and incidents efficiently.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, routing protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with security tools such as FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, or CrowdStrike.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
