Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement incident response protocols for data breaches
- Develop threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems
- Collaborate with IT teams on security architecture
- Ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC or similar environment
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows systems administration
- Hands-on experience with threat detection tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)
- Incident response handling certification (GIAC GCFA preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
