Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced network and cloud security solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Monitor security alerts and respond to critical incidents using SIEM and SOAR tools (Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct thorough security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
- Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, or GCIH certification is mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior engineering capacity.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong proficiency in cloud security architecture for AWS or Azure.
- Tools: Experience with scripting (Python/Bash) for automation and forensics.
