Responsibilities
- Lead the detection and response to security incidents and breaches in real-time.
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network architecture across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Develop and enforce comprehensive information security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Manage and monitor security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and next-generation firewalls.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities to proactively mitigate risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including hands-on experience with SOC operations.
- Active CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security principles.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
