Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response for complex cyber-attacks with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for cloud/on-premises environments
- Develop security automation using Python, Ansible, and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through hands-on workshops and code reviews
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in leadership roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certifications required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security controls and compliance frameworks
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Experience with threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Proven ability to create security documentation (policies, playbooks)
