SecureNet Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Part-Time Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Philadelphia-based team. Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, firewalls, and SIEM tools to identify and respond to suspicious activities in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to uncover system weaknesses before malicious actors exploit them.
- Investigate security incidents, document findings, and coordinate remediation efforts with internal teams.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Update and manage security policies, procedures, and user access controls.
- Participate in security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with security tools including Splunk, Wireshark, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
