Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks for cloud and hybrid environments
- Lead 24/7 incident response coordination during security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop automation scripts to enhance threat detection capabilities
- Mentor junior engineers on security best practices and emerging threats
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security risk reports and remediation plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with 3+ in incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and SIEM platforms
- Strong knowledge of NIST framework and compliance standards
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for security automation
- Proven track record of managing complex security incidents
- Ability to work independently in a remote team environment
