Responsibilities
- Monitor Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts and tickets 24/7 during weekend shifts.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, malware, and phishing attempts in real-time.
- Perform log analysis and correlation to identify suspicious network activity.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and patch management for critical systems.
- Document security incidents and create detailed reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a SOC or Security Operations role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and Linux/Windows environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during off-hours.
