Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Analyze security alerts and events from SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential breaches in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate the investigation, containment, and eradication of cyber incidents.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify system weaknesses.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement advanced security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications: CISSP, GCIH, CISM, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Python, Linux, Windows, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Tools: Hands-on experience with SIEM (Splunk, Elastic), SOAR, and endpoint detection systems.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
