Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure infrastructure deployment.
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Perform threat hunting and analyze malware signatures to prevent breaches.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCFA are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of incident response frameworks (NIST, SANS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
