Responsibilities
- Lead incident response investigations for complex security breaches and cyber attacks
- Develop and implement advanced threat detection strategies using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust security architectures
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from 24/7 Security Operations Center
- Generate comprehensive security reports and executive dashboards
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and industry-specific regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection and incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in network security protocols (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
