Responsibilities
- Lead incident response efforts and manage the remediation lifecycle for security breaches.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security patches and configurations.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks.
- Train junior staff and conduct security awareness training for the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or threat analysis.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security.
- Experience with IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and Endpoint Protection solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical findings to stakeholders.
