Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel).
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans and risk assessments to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, including malware analysis and phishing attempts.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and VPNs.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Perform security audits and penetration testing support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proficiency in security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
