Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough investigations and incident response for security breaches, ensuring minimal business impact.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our systems and applications.
- Manage and maintain firewall policies, VPN configurations, and network access controls to secure data in transit and at rest.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on best practices and phishing prevention.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or SOC operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
