Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Develop and implement incident response plans to mitigate cyber threats and ensure business continuity.
- Enforce compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage security configurations for cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and on-premise infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GCIH.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security architecture.
- Proficiency in security tools such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and DLP solutions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
