Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies and protocols.
- Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify, analyze, and respond to potential threats and intrusions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with internal teams to mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and recommend proactive security measures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP), firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and endpoint protection platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
