Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze SIEM logs to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
- Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.
- Configure and manage firewall policies, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust security policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python/Bash).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a part-time schedule.
