Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and monitor advanced security protocols to protect cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response for breaches and cyber-attacks, ensuring rapid containment and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop security automation tools using Python/SOAR platforms to enhance threat detection
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven expertise in threat detection, incident response, or security engineering
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), EDR solutions, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation and threat hunting
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and client interactions
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
