Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Linux/Windows server infrastructure across AWS and on-premise environments
- Lead security hardening initiatives including vulnerability patching and compliance audits (SOC2, HIPAA)
- Automate deployment workflows using Ansible and Terraform for CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system performance using Prometheus/Grafana and proactively resolve incidents
- Provide Tier-3 support and mentorship to junior sysadmins and DevOps engineers
- Coordinate disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning
- Optimize resource utilization through capacity planning and cost analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years administering enterprise-level Linux (RHEL/CentOS) and Windows Server environments
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM) with Terraform automation
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) for infrastructure automation
- Deep knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls)
- Certifications: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or equivalent
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proven incident response and root cause analysis capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
