Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and virtualization platforms
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime for mission-critical applications
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) including resource provisioning, security configurations, and cost optimization
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures including firewalls, intrusion detection, and endpoint protection
- Oversee backup/restore operations and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures for compliance and knowledge transfer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems administration and scripting (Bash/Python)
- AWS/Azure certification and experience with cloud infrastructure management
- Strong understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, VPNs, routing) and security protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
