Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premises and AWS/Azure platforms
- Lead enterprise-level network administration including firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN solutions
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell/Python to streamline deployment processes
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems with 99.99% uptime SLA
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement CIS-compliant security hardening
- Provide Tier 3 support for complex system outages and performance optimization
- Document IT infrastructure using Visio and CMDB tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Windows Server 2019+ and Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu)
- Expert-level knowledge of virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell/Python/Bash) for infrastructure automation
- AWS/Azure certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin) or equivalent experience
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP) and security frameworks (NIST, CIS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Experience managing hybrid cloud environments with multi-site replication
