Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Linux/Windows server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Implement robust cybersecurity protocols including firewalls, intrusion detection, and access controls
- Oversee network infrastructure including VLANs, VPNs, and load balancing configurations
- Automate system maintenance tasks using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools
- Provide Level 3 technical support and lead incident resolution for critical systems
- Document system architectures, processes, and disaster recovery procedures
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless CI/CD pipeline integration
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise system administration with Linux and Windows environments
- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Certifications in CompTIA Security+, Linux+, or Microsoft Azure Administrator preferred
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation
- Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Datadog
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
