In this pivotal role, you will design and implement advanced security protocols, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our critical assets. You will work alongside industry experts to combat evolving cyber threats and lead our security strategy.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events via SIEM platforms to detect and respond to potential breaches in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead incident response teams during cyber-attacks, coordinating with legal and executive stakeholders.
- Integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps) to prevent vulnerabilities early.
- Manage network security devices including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Provide security training and awareness programs to staff to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or incident response.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Proven experience with threat intelligence, malware analysis, and reverse engineering.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
