Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to fortify network defenses.
- Manage and respond to security incidents, including root cause analysis and remediation.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or incident response.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proven track record of implementing security solutions in a corporate environment.
