Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems and SIEM platforms to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and recovery from security breaches.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage compliance requirements, including SOC 2, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS audits.
- Train employees on security awareness and phishing prevention.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
