Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to potential cyber threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis to ensure rapid recovery and prevent future breaches.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for security policies, incident reports, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Provide expert guidance on security posture and risk mitigation strategies for key business stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure).
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Experience with threat intelligence tools and SIEM platforms is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
