Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools to detect potential intrusions and malicious activity.
- Conduct 24/7 log analysis and threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities before they are exploited.
- Respond to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security appliances.
- Generate and present comprehensive security reports to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) and incident response tools.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule.
