Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Manage identity and access management (IAM) processes to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Prepare and present detailed reports on security posture and incident analysis to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security engineering.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
- Experience with security tools like Splunk, SIEM, FireEye, or Palo Alto Networks.
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
