Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Enforce and audit security policies to ensure compliance (SOC2, HIPAA, NIST).
- Secure cloud environments and on-premise infrastructure against modern threats.
- Collaborate with IT operations to implement robust security controls.
- Prepare incident reports and conduct security awareness training for staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and Windows administration.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
