Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage the remediation process for identified risks.
- Lead incident response investigations, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
