Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Response: Monitor and analyze network traffic across equity options platforms to identify and neutralize sophisticated threats in real-time.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security protocols specifically tailored for high-frequency trading environments and derivative markets.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure all security measures align with SEC, FINRA, and global financial compliance standards.
- Incident Management: Lead forensic investigations into security breaches, minimizing downtime and financial loss.
- Penetration Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and red team exercises on trading software and databases.
- Daily Monitoring: Oversee 24/7 security operations centers to ensure continuous protection of client assets.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or Finance.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a focus on financial markets or equity options trading systems.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CEH is required; Security+, CISA preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), and network security architecture.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of how equity options are traded and the specific risks associated with derivative instruments.
