We specialize in the secure infrastructure of Equity Options trading, and we require a specialist to manage our critical weekend operations. In this role, you will ensure our proprietary trading algorithms and sensitive financial data remain uncompromised while global markets are active. Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor 24/7 security protocols specifically for weekend trading operations and off-hours system maintenance.
- Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on equity options trading platforms.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, malware, and anomalies during the weekend shift.
- Enforce strict access controls and manage authentication systems to protect sensitive financial data.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to patch vulnerabilities in high-frequency trading (HFT) systems.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, SOC2 standards, and industry best practices.
- Generate and present weekly security reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a preference for experience in financial services or options trading.
- Strong understanding of network security, firewalls, SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), and endpoint protection.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously during weekend shifts.
- CISSP, Security+, or GSEC certification is highly preferred.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting for security automation and monitoring.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA, and financial data privacy regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
