As a key member of our Security Operations Center (SOC), you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our client data.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts through SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and respond to incidents in real-time.
- Conduct daily vulnerability assessments and ensure timely patch management.
- Perform threat hunting and analysis to identify malicious activity within the network.
- Document security incidents, root causes, and resolutions in the SIEM and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices.
- Assist in compliance audits and generate security reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Incident Response role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools, Firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GSEC are highly preferred.
- Ability to obtain a government clearance (if required).
